Shows
Our next show is: The Yeomen of the Guard, Wed 23rd to Sat 26th November in the Robinson Auditorium Theatre, at 8:00pm. Tickets are available from ADC Ticketing.
We put on quite a few shows every year, catering for all levels of musical ability and always offering a lot of fun.
- A Freshers Show in Michlemas term. Where possible, principal roles will be given to those new to the society. Everyone who auditions can get a chorus role.
- The Main Cambridge Show in Lent Term, held at the Cambridge Arts Theatre in the recent past. This is always one of the largest student productions in Cambridge, with a big budget and professional performance levels.
- The semi-staged Concert Performance in May Week, which allows people to perform without having to make a big commitment during Exam Term
- The Summer Cornwall Show at the open-air Minack Theatre. The show is rehearsed in Cornwall for two weeks, and performed for a one week run. This is possibly the only theatre where you can be upstaged by Dolphins, and we have a regular following who come to see the show every year.
We also sometimes do other shows, for example collaborating with the Musical Theatre Society (CUMTS) on May Week shows, and performing at the ADC Theatre or the Edinburgh Fringe. If you have a show you would like us to be involved with (it doesn't need to be G&S!) the please contact the committee.
